The 49ers worked the phones like thieves and earned a B.

You can hear the double-takes from here. The 49ers took Desmond Evans at the Round 7 slot, roughly 90 spots before his name belonged.

They won the margins on every swap, and it adds up fast. However the rest shakes out, Anthony at that price is a win they earned.

A whole weekend of picks and running back is somehow still a want. The Jackson pick reads as want over need, and the roster will feel it at running back, interior defensive lineman and other spots.

A workmanlike haul that should hold up just fine.
