A passer of the future in Ward, and a B-, for the Giants.

The one hole that towered over the rest is filled. The Giants spent their marquee pick on Cam Ward, and for the first time in a while there is a real answer at quarterback.

Landing Brooks that late papers over a lot of smaller sins. They will need Joyner to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped safety, which is a strange place to end up.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.

Jah Joyner at slot 105 is a steep price for a hunch, hard to square with any board. A need, and now a little less of one.

They reached into another round for Jack Kiser, and the board is nowhere close to agreeing. Depth more than a fix, but depth they can use.

A tidy little value on Chimere Dike in pick No. 219, a step better than break-even. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
