The Patriots went off the board in a big way for Bru McCoy, 122 picks early. Conviction is one thing; this is another. Too much went sideways, and the D is the honest tally.

They handed away value on the phones that the picks cannot earn back. However the rest shakes out, Ferguson at that price is a win they earned. The Josh Downs deal gives the class an established piece to lean on.

Bottom line, they will be counting on several picks to beat their grades.
