Somehow the biggest item on the list survived the weekend. The Cardinals never addressed wide receiver, and it is the kind of gap that lingers.

That is a running back worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly. If Caldwell pans out, nobody remembers the price. If not, this is the pick they hear about.

Job largely done: quarterback settled and 5 of 8 of the wish list covered. The offense got the lion's share of the attention.

A tidy weekend of work that should hold up just fine.
