The Dolphins did the meat-and-potatoes work well: B-.

It is a puzzling start. The Dolphins had wide receiver, edge rusher and other spots to solve and reached instead for Azareye'h Thomas, a cornerback, at No. 39.

For all the activity, wide receiver went untouched, which is hard to explain. The cost of the Thomas reach is exactly the players who went right after him. That is a quarterback worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but wide receiver.
