The steal of the weekend belongs to the 49ers and Neal: B.

Call it larceny. Devin Neal sat on the board until pick No. 100, and the 49ers did not need to be asked twice. Solid and sensible more than spectacular: a B.

Leaving wide receiver unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. They will need Bassa to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. On the needs board they went 5 of 8, with offensive lineman the one that mattered most.

Add it up and it is a good, unfussy class.
