Mondon Jr. should have been long gone. The Bills pounced, and earned a B-.

Somebody in the Round 5 slot was going to get robbed, and it turned out to be the rest of the league. The Bills sat still while Smael Mondon Jr., the No. 105 name on the board, slid all the way to them, then sprinted to the podium. Nothing here to lose sleep over; call it a B-.

The offensive lineman spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. The roster is better shaped than it was, with linebacker chief among the fixes.

Nearly every premium pick went to that side of the ball.

Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.
