The Bears answered their biggest question with Daniels. Grade: B.

The one hole that towered over the rest is filled. The Bears spent their marquee pick on Jayden Daniels, and for the first time in a while there is a real answer at quarterback.

With interior defensive lineman, running back and other spots unsolved, spending premium capital on safety is the choice that costs them. Gillotte has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped interior defensive lineman, which is a strange place to end up.

In short, they left a little better than they arrived, which is the whole idea.
