The best pick of the weekend was also the simplest. The 49ers watched Ryan Fitzgerald slide 136 picks past his grade and did not hesitate. It nets out a thoroughly average C+.

The dealing is the wound this class cannot quite close. Every board in the league had Edwards lower, and that gap is the story. For all the activity, interior defensive lineman went untouched, which is hard to explain.

If Will Campbell and a couple of the gambles land, hindsight will be kinder than this grade.
