You can fall in love with a player. You are not supposed to marry him in the wrong round. The Commanders did exactly that with Barryn Sorrell in slot 238.

Leaving cornerback unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. The Mondon Jr. value carries more weight than any single miss elsewhere.

Wide receiver was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

Not a headline-grabber, but a perfectly good weekend's work.
