Best value of the weekend goes to the Texans for Harris: B-.

Somebody in pick No. 79 was going to get robbed, and it turned out to be the rest of the league. The Texans sat still while Tre Harris, the No. 60 name on the board, slid all the way to them, then sprinted to the podium.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped edge rusher, which is a strange place to end up. The Booker pick is the one the value grade keeps tripping over.

Running back was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job. The trenches got the money picks, top to bottom.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the edge rusher spot they never got to.

In slot 25 they get an anchor for the offensive line, though they paid up to get him. A real need, handled.

Jonah Savaiinaea slipping to the 58th overall pick is the kind of luck good rooms make for themselves. It patches a soft spot without any drama.
Pick79 Rnd3 Tre Harris
A top-tier wide receiver at a bargain, Tre Harris in the Round 3 slot, plain and simple. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
Pick89 Rnd3 Ozzy Trapilo
Nothing to complain about; Ozzy Trapilo went a shade earlier than his grade, which is fine. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
Pick166 Rnd5 Kyle Williams
Kyle Williams in the 166th pick is fair value, right on his grade. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
