Brown should have been long gone. The Commanders pounced, and earned a B-.

The rest of the league will want that one back. Logan Brown tumbling to the Commanders in Round 6, Pick 29 is a gift they did not have to think twice about. Call it a sensible B-, earned the boring way.

That cornerback hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. Reaching for Martin left real value on the table behind him. The roster is better shaped than it was, with wide receiver chief among the fixes.

They trusted the board more than the depth chart.

Nothing here to lose sleep over, and plenty to feel decent about.
