Boards are made to be trusted, and the Cowboys shredded theirs for Chip Trayanum. He came off 97 spots early, and the room will hear about it.

They handed away value on the phones that the picks cannot earn back. Spending an early pick on edge rusher with cornerback, tight end and other spots open is the decision the grade keeps circling back to. A whole weekend of picks and cornerback is somehow still a want.

The Smith value carries more weight than any single miss elsewhere.
