The Giants won the night they stopped Ponds from sliding. Grade: B+.

Whoever sat across the table from the Giants should ask for a receipt. They cleaned the room out, prying loose far more value than they gave up, and it was the quiet MVP of their weekend. More right than wrong, and a B+ to match.

They banked enough surplus on Ponds to cover a lot of smaller sins. The interior defensive lineman spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
