Start where it matters. The Vikings took Trinidad Chambliss to run the offense for the next decade, and every other decision this weekend bends around that one.

The Johnson value carries more weight than any single miss elsewhere. It is not that Benefield is a bad player; it is that the Vikings had louder needs to answer first.

For all the activity, tight end went untouched, which is hard to explain. Chambliss has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced.

Nothing here to lose sleep over, and plenty to feel decent about.
