The Dolphins did not reach, did not trade up, did not blink. They just waited, and Troy Fautanu fell into pick 55.

They will regret leaving quarterback for another day if the season turns on it. The cost of the Nugent reach is exactly the players who went right after him.

Edge rusher is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it. The trenches got the money picks, top to bottom.

Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.
