The move everyone will second-guess came early. The Commanders reached some 76 spots for Barryn Sorrell, and value like that does not grow back.

The Williams pick is the one they will point to when this weekend is judged. That cornerback hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. They left with wide receiver solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.

They chose more darts over a bigger single swing.

A workmanlike haul that should hold up just fine.
