When a board-topper like Bhayshul Tuten slides to pick No. 228, you do not overthink it, and the 49ers did not. Nothing here to lose sleep over; call it a B-.

Reaching for West left real value on the table behind him. The quarterback spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. Offensive lineman is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.

Add it up and it is a good, unfussy class.
