You build a draft on nights like this. Quinshon Judkins had no business being available in slot 189, and the 49ers did the only sane thing and turned in the card. A dependable weekend that grades out a B+.

The Travis pick is the one the value grade keeps tripping over. They punted on quarterback, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest.

Stockpiling next year's capital is patient, if unglamorous, asset work.
