That is a wide receiver worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly. It is not that Williams is a bad player; it is that the Bears had louder needs to answer first.

The cost of the Lachey reach is exactly the players who went right after him. If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through linebacker.
