The best pick of the weekend was also the simplest. The Cardinals watched Ben Sinnott slide 60 picks past his grade and did not hesitate.

They handed away value on the phones that the picks cannot earn back. They will need Taylor III to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. They will regret leaving quarterback for another day if the season turns on it.

They trusted the board more than the depth chart.

Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.
