The board owed the Browns one, and it paid up: Dylan Sampson, the No. 63 name on the board, sitting there at the 104th pick like a gift left on the doorstep.

The cost of the Reid reach is exactly the players who went right after him. A whole weekend of picks and tight end is somehow still a want.
