Winston Jr. should have been long gone. The 49ers pounced, and earned a B+.

Call it larceny. Kevin Winston Jr. sat on the board until slot 147, and the 49ers did not need to be asked twice. They moved the roster forward and banked a B+ for it.

They won the margins on every swap, and it adds up fast. Leaving quarterback unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. On the needs board they went 6 of 8, with offensive lineman the one that mattered most.

Nothing here to lose sleep over, and plenty to feel decent about.
