A passer of the future in Williams, and a D, for the Bears.

The Bears clearly saw something nobody else did in Trevor Keegan, taking him 42 picks ahead of his grade. The board is not convinced. It grades a D, and the process earned it.

Overpaying at the table undid a lot of the good work elsewhere. Caleb Williams gives the offense a face and a plan, and the grade leans heavily on whether he hits. The Stover pick is fine in a vacuum, less so with linebacker still on the board.

They will regret leaving linebacker for another day if the season turns on it. Landing Dixon that late papers over a lot of smaller sins.

In the end, a class the front office will want to grow past quickly.
