You could see the war room lean forward. Tez Johnson at the 179th pick is the sort of fall that does not happen, except it just did.

The dealing is the wound this class cannot quite close. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped cornerback, which is a strange place to end up.

On the needs board they went 8 of 9, with quarterback the one that mattered most.

If Abdul Carter and a couple of the gambles land, hindsight will be kinder than this grade.
