Somewhere a scout is still blinking. The Bears spent pick No. 188 on Sheridan Jones, a name the board had a full 38 spots lower. Little went right, and the F does not pretend otherwise.

Drake Maye gives the offense a face and a plan, and the grade leans heavily on whether he hits. They lost the exchange badly enough to drag the whole class down.

Landing Taylor that late papers over a lot of smaller sins. Spend now, pay later; the math only works if this class delivers.

There is no soft landing here; this class has to massively overperform just to matter.
