The war room fell hard for Jalen Milroe, and it showed at pick 141: 119 picks ahead of a board that had other ideas. Little went right, and the F does not pretend otherwise.

The dealing is the wound this class cannot quite close. The Moore pick reads as want over need, and the roster will feel it at interior defensive lineman and running back. They will regret leaving interior defensive lineman for another day if the season turns on it.

They are betting the present roster is worth a lighter draft next spring. Whatever else happened, they won the night they took Muhammad III.

There is no soft landing here: they fought the board and left interior defensive lineman open, and the grade is the bill.
