This is the pick they will still be bragging about in July: Dont'e Thornton Jr., the No. 173 name on the board, stolen at the Round 7 slot. No fireworks, but a solid B.

If Dellinger pans out, nobody remembers the price. If not, this is the pick they hear about. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped tight end, which is a strange place to end up.

Wide receiver is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
