The Giants did the meat-and-potatoes work well: B.

Somehow the biggest item on the list survived the weekend. The Giants never addressed safety, and it is the kind of gap that lingers. A dependable weekend that grades out a B.

Whatever else happened, they won the night they took Mafah. Interior defensive lineman was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

Nearly every premium pick went to that side of the ball. The dealing was even money, start to finish.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but safety.
