Larceny in the 228th pick lands the 49ers a B, Ward and all.

The board owed the 49ers one, and it paid up: Cam Ward, the No. 6 name on the board, sitting there at the Round 7 slot like a gift left on the doorstep. More right than wrong, and a B to match.

The roster is better shaped than it was, with offensive lineman chief among the fixes. Nearly every premium pick went to that side of the ball.

Nothing here to lose sleep over, and plenty to feel decent about.
