A costly weekend of dealing drags the Steelers to a D.

Somewhere a scout is still blinking. The Steelers spent Round 6, Pick 9 on Xavier Truss, a name the board had a full 111 spots lower. Hard to defend, and the D reflects that.

The trades bled value they could not afford to lose. For all the activity, quarterback went untouched, which is hard to explain.

That is a wide receiver worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly.

Bottom line, they will need several of these picks to beat their grades just to break even.
