The board owed the Cardinals one, and it paid up: Joshua Farmer, the No. 117 name on the board, sitting there at Round 5, Pick 14 like a gift left on the doorstep.

Jackson has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. The quarterback hole is the one line item this class does not answer. Offensive lineman was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

Good work on the whole, with quarterback the one box left unchecked.
