A sensible, unshowy class lands the Eagles a B-.

For all the names on the card, the loudest question went unanswered. The Eagles walked out of the weekend still thin at cornerback, a hole that has a way of deciding seasons.

The Kiser pick is the one the value grade keeps tripping over. The Evans steal is the beam this whole class leans on.

Job largely done: edge rusher settled and 6 of 9 of the wish list covered. The weekend tilted hard toward the defense.

Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.
