Somebody in the 236th pick was going to get robbed, and it turned out to be the rest of the league. The Texans sat still while Donovan Edwards, the No. 203 name on the board, slid all the way to them, then sprinted to the podium.

If Lambert-Smith pans out, nobody remembers the price. If not, this is the pick they hear about. The interior defensive lineman hole is the one line item this class does not answer.

They came away with juice, if not much beef up front.

Add it up and it is a good, unfussy class.
