There was a run on nobody at that position, and the Bears started one anyway for Luke Lachey, 36 picks ahead of schedule. A near-flawless weekend of work, and a A- to cap it.

The phones were where this weekend was really won. For all the activity, running back went untouched, which is hard to explain. Horton at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster.

Trust the process, because this time the process plainly worked.
