A costly weekend of dealing drags the Lions to a C-.

They will call it conviction in the building and a reach everywhere else: Jordan Travis, 46 picks early at the 126th pick. Call it a C- and check back in two years.

The dealing is the wound this class cannot quite close. Leaving linebacker unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. The Lions clearly valued win-now help, adding bodies who have done it before.

If Cooper DeJean and a couple of the gambles land, hindsight will be kinder than this grade.
