When the story of this class is written, it opens with Roman Hemby at the Round 4 slot, a reach of 225 spots that the board flatly disagrees with. The board sounded every alarm, and the F is the fallout.

Overpaying at the table undid a lot of the good work elsewhere. It is not that Crownover is a bad player; it is that the Steelers had louder needs to answer first. Leaving edge rusher unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.
