The 49ers looked at the value chart, folded it up, and took Sai'vion Jones at slot 75 regardless, 67 picks early.

Every deal seemed to tilt their way, which is not luck. The Monangai pick alone nudges the whole weekend up a notch. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped quarterback, which is a strange place to end up.

A competent weekend that does not make headlines and does not need to.
