Good, not great, for the Cardinals: B-.

The Cardinals looked at the value chart, folded it up, and took Jaylen Wright at pick No. 27 regardless, 44 picks early.

The quarterback spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. They came away with juice, if not much beef up front.

In sum, a sensible class that nudges the roster the right way.

Pick Analysis
Pick4 Rnd1 Marvin Harrison Jr.
In slot 4 they get a go-to option on the outside. Exactly the need they had to hit.
Pick27 Rnd1 Jaylen Wright
A swing that ignored the value entirely, Jaylen Wright well ahead of where he belonged. It fills a real need, too.
