Somewhere a general manager is explaining how Isaiah Bond got past him. The Seahawks do not have to explain a thing at Round 4, Pick 19. It does the job without flash, and the B+ reflects it.

They will need Hawes to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. They won the margins on every swap, and it adds up fast. They will answer for taking cornerback early while quarterback and running back went begging.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped quarterback, which is a strange place to end up.

Bottom line, more hits than misses and a roster nudged the right way.
