Overall

FutureB-
The steal of the weekend belongs to the Seahawks and McCaffrey: B+. Whoever sat across the table from the Seahawks should ask for a receipt. They cleaned the room out, prying loose far more value than they gave up, and it was the quiet MVP of their weekend.
McCaffrey falling to them is the kind of break a good board is built to catch. They are betting Harrell proves the room right and everyone else wrong.
Adding Brandon Graham by trade rounds out the weekend beyond the rookies. Edge rusher was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.
Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.
Pick Analysis
Pick23
Rnd1
Dallas Turner
In No. 23 they get a bendy edge with upside, and a steal at that. It fills the loudest need on the roster.
Pick53
Rnd2
Christian Haynes
They went early on Christian Haynes in pick No. 53, and the value did not follow. That was the need underlined and circled, and now it is checked off.
Pick81
Rnd3
Jaden Hicks
Jaden Hicks at the 81st overall pick is right where the board had him, plain and simple. Not urgent, but hardly pointless.
Pick102
Rnd4
Cedric Gray
They paid up for Cedric Gray at the 102nd pick when waiting would have done the job. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
Pick108
Rnd4
Spencer Rattler
They paid a round early for Spencer Rattler in the Round 4 slot, more than the board wanted. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
Pick118
Rnd4
Mekhi Wingo
The board had Mekhi Wingo higher than slot 118, and the interior defensive lineman fell to them anyway. It fills a real need, too.
Pick129
Rnd4
Ben Sinnott
They paid sticker price for Ben Sinnott in No. 129, and that is fine. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
Pick157
Rnd5
Marist Liufau
A reach on Marist Liufau in the Round 5 slot; the board had better options right there. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
Pick177
Rnd6
Luke McCaffrey
A wide receiver of that caliber at pick 177 is the definition of value, full stop. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
Pick184
Rnd6
Layden Robinson
A quiet steal in pick No. 184: Layden Robinson for less than the market said. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
Pick192
Rnd6
Jaylen Harrell
Jaylen Harrell in Round 6, Pick 17 is the kind of reach that only looks good if he outplays it. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
Pick235
Rnd7
Frank Gore Jr.
Frank Gore Jr. slid further than he should have, and the 235th pick is lovely value for the running back. The roster fit checks out.
Pick241
Rnd7
Zion Tupuola-Fetui
You do not let an edge rusher like Zion Tupuola-Fetui reach the 241st overall pick and blink. They did not. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
