If confidence were a draft strategy, the Bills would have aced it. DeMonte Capehart at pick No. 206 is 69 spots clear of where he belonged.

Getting Thrash where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class. The phones were where this weekend was really won.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped safety, which is a strange place to end up. The Alec Pierce deal gives the class an established piece to lean on.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but safety.
