Nobody dealt better than the 49ers this weekend: B+.

The real work happened on the phones. The 49ers fleeced their trade partners, turning their picks into a noticeably bigger pile than they started with. Good, not great, and the B+ says as much.

Rhodes Jr. has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. For all the activity, running back went untouched, which is hard to explain. The 49ers paired the rookies with proven help, Dexter Lawrence II leading the way.

In short, they left a little better than they arrived, which is the whole idea.
