The best pick of the weekend was also the simplest. The Texans watched Emeka Egbuka slide 54 picks past his grade and did not hesitate. They moved the roster forward and banked a B- for it.

Mickens has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. Leaving edge rusher unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. Running back was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

In sum, a sensible class that nudges the roster the right way.
