The Lions let Starks fall and pounced. Final grade: B+.

Call it larceny. Malaki Starks sat on the board until No. 101, and the Lions did not need to be asked twice. They moved the roster forward and banked a B+ for it.

Every deal seemed to tilt their way, which is not luck. Reaching for Burke left real value on the table behind him. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped offensive lineman, which is a strange place to end up.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but offensive lineman.
