The Bills spent real capital to be 29 picks early on Jason Marshall Jr., and the board is going to hold them to it. The bottom line is a respectable B-.

With linebacker, offensive lineman and other spots unsolved, spending premium capital on cornerback is the choice that costs them. They punted on linebacker, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest.

Watts at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster. Interior defensive lineman was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.
