There was a run on nobody at that position, and the Giants started one anyway for Fadil Diggs, 92 picks ahead of schedule. The board rewarded a patient, disciplined weekend with a A-.

McCord at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster. The trade ledger is the best part of the whole weekend. The Giants clearly valued win-now help, adding bodies who have done it before.

Add it up and few war rooms did better this weekend, Tetairoa McMillan and all.
