A sensible, unshowy class lands the Steelers a B.

Somewhere a scout is still blinking. The Steelers spent Round 7, Pick 24 on Rondell Bothroyd, a name the board had a full 39 spots lower. More right than wrong, and a B to match.

Getting Franklin where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class. The Steelers indulged a want in Powers-Johnson while a need in interior defensive lineman, running back and other spots stayed open.

For all the activity, interior defensive lineman went untouched, which is hard to explain.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but interior defensive lineman.
