The Lions let Wallace fall into their laps, and walked away with a C+.

The trade table was where it all came apart. The Lions shipped out far more than they hauled back, and no amount of spin dresses up the bill.

However the rest shakes out, Wallace at that price is a win they earned. They will answer for taking DT-EDGE early while edge rusher, linebacker and other spots went begging.

A whole weekend of picks and edge rusher is somehow still a want.

So much rides on Quinyon Mitchell that the real verdict is a season or two away.
