The Bears left with their quarterback, and a B+ to match.

Start where it matters. The Bears took Caleb Williams to run the offense for the next decade, and every other decision this weekend bends around that one.

They robbed the room blind at the table, and it lifts the grade on its own. That is a linebacker worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly. They punted on running back, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest.

Adding Will Fries by trade rounds out the weekend beyond the rookies.

In short, they left a little better than they arrived, which is the whole idea.
